AI Receptionist · Automation

We put an AI receptionist on our own phone line. Call it and try to trip it up.

Our business line is now answered by the same AI receptionist system we sell. The number is (825) 435-9098. Call it.

Tonight our business line started being answered by an AI receptionist. Not a demo rigged for a sales call. It is the number on this site, answering the way we would set it up for a customer.

The number is (825) 435-9098. Call it. Try to trip it up. Seriously.

Why we would do this to ourselves

We have a rule: nothing we sell goes out before it has survived our own business. Websites, automations, and now the phone. If the receptionist cannot handle a real caller asking about our services at 11pm, it has no business answering yours.

What it does

  • Answers every call, day or night.
  • Gets the caller’s name and callback number.
  • Reads the number back digit by digit and does not move on until the caller confirms it, because one wrong digit is a lost lead.
  • Captures what the caller needs and how urgent it is.
  • Saves the call as a lead and sends us a structured alert within seconds of hang-up.

What it does not do (yet)

The honest version: in early testing, a caller gave a 9-digit number and the receptionist accepted it without flagging the missing digit. We tightened the script. It now counts digits and asks for a slow repeat when something is off.

We also added a second check behind the phone. If a number could not be dialed, such as a missing digit or an area code that does not exist, the lead is saved as heard and flagged for a human instead of marked confirmed. The first real test call tonight is why: a misheard area code came through as “confirmed.” It would not now.

We will keep posting what breaks. That is the point of running it on our own line: you get the fixed version, not the experiment.

The math behind it

A missed call on a contractor’s line is not a missed call. It is a missed job. If your average job is worth $800 and you miss three calls a week that would have booked, from the truck or a crawlspace, that is about $124,800 a year going to whoever picked up.

A human answering service takes messages. This answers, qualifies, and captures, and it never sleeps.

Try it, then talk to us

Call (825) 435-9098. Give it a name and number, correct a digit mid-readback, and see what happens. If you like how it handles you, that is the same system we would install on your line, wired into our Lead + Quote Automation service.

We did not write this to convince you AI is magic. We wrote it because the thing is live, on our number, right now. Go kick the tires.
